Independent Study with 3 in-person meetings

Who am I? A question that has existed for generations and according to current culture a question that seems more and more difficult to define, but a question that increasingly becomes more and more important to know. While the question has not changed over time, the speed and volume of varying voices vying for us to listen and believe their answer to that question has increased to a frenzied level. Introduce social media, and the pull of those voices has astronomically increased. We are inundated by people, subcultures, products, marketing, images, friends all trying to answer that question for us. This study will look at who God is and who He says I am according to Scripture. This study will evaluate the question Who am I? in light of four categories: Pre-Fall, Post-Fall, Because of Jesus and Why does it matter?

What does “independent study” mean? It means grab a friend, your daughter, a small group or just yourself and dig into God’s word and grow together. Resources and curriculum will be provided along with regular encouragement and check-ins, including three in-person gatherings to discuss material as a large group.

This study is recommended for women of all ages and is also recommended for girls 5th grade and older to do with their mom or in a small group context. Homework will be completed independently with three in-person meetings: February 25, March 17, April 21. In-person meetings will be held at Restoration Church from 6:00-7:30 PM. Course material will be available February 1, 2024.

Cost: TBD (more info will come later in January)
